On Tuesday Luke Hutteman released a new version of SharpReader. SharpReader is a .Net based news aggregator. At this point, I spend almost as much time in SharpReader as I do in Outlook. In fact, I rarely read sites that don’t have an RSS feed.
Once you’ve installed your handy dandy reader, make sure to subscribe to pickabar.
The one feature I’d like to see in SharpReader (and other aggregators) is the ability to extend the RSS loading capabilities. Something like the .Net Frameworks ability to use custom XPathNavigators to treat non InfoSet data like an XML InfoSet. If there was an easy way to do that, I could write a plug-in that would create feeds for all kinds of datasources. I’d never have to leave SharpReader!
