Everyone from the NY Post to Gothamist has talked about how Friendster is dead. How can that be when I’m still getting in touch with long lost friends who I would probably never have spoken to again? There are still tons of late adopters who have yet to get infected, and thus lots of potential connections to be made and productivity to be lost.
Friendster is alive and kicking, and will be until at least next month when they start charging ;). Then we can all settle on a non-proprietary replacement…perhaps something using RSS?
